We have created a beautiful purpose-built kitchen studio with ten induction-hob workstations and a fantastic central teaching space for everyone to come together and learn to cook. Our cookery classes are based in Aldermaston, near Reading.
There is a spoonful of science in all that we do at the Cookery Lab, from thinking about how we cook our food, to understanding why our food tastes so good. We believe in the power of learning skills and understanding "why", over remembering an encyclopedic list of recipes.
We are committed to minimising our environmental impact and promoting sustainability. We avoid single-use plastics and seek to minimise our food waste (usually as an opportunity to create something unexpectedly delicious). We plan to start growing some food within the Lab to use in our classes....watch this space!
